Filming of ‘Transformers 3′ will begin in Detroit soon!

Great news for those of you Shia fans who live in Detroit!

Filming is set to begin in Detroit for scenes that will appear in the upcoming ‘Transformers 3′ movie.

The Michigan Film Office confirms that preparations are underway, and crews will arrive as early as next week.

Some scenes will be shot at the old Packard Plant on East Grand Boulevard. Crews could be in Detroit filming scenes for up to three weeks.

‘Transformers 3′ stars Shia LaBeouf and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. The film is being directed by Michael Bay.

You can keep your eye out for casting opportunities by checking out the website for the Michigan Film Office.
